Subscriptions are a way for you to keep up to date with the goings on of Molecular Voices, but not have to visit the site constantly to do so.

Back in the day, users subscribed to newsletters and such via email. You can still subscribe to our site via email if you want, but, we realized people get too much email – we do not want to contribute to that problem.

So we offer subscriptions in the form of RSS and Atom and feeds (RSS and Atom are just two different formats for feeds; both contain the same information, and most software can read both). You enter the feed address into your feed reader (such as Google Reader, Bloglines, Yahoo!, or any number of other readers), and the feed reader will automatically check our site for updates, and tell you about them as they become available. This way, you get the news when you want it, in a form your familiar with.

To subscribe, hover your mouse over the “subscribe to our rss feed” area on the right side of the site, then select an application to subscribe with, copy and paste the URL to the feed directly into your application of choice, or enter your email address to get new postings emailed to you.
