Street View
It is amazing how little time it takes for ideas and technology to proliferate in this day and age. The Street View by Google is another classic example.

One day after it was launched by Google, a Boston company EveryScape has taken the street view of a map provided by Google to a view INTO the buildings that stand on each side of the street. Do any of you recall Joey from friends ‘stepping’ into his map on his trip to London? Well.. I guess that wasn’t so outlandish now was it? Except that you can now literally look at the building in a map without actually being there, and perhaps even inside the building without ever actually needing to set foot in it!! EveryScape claims that you can see restaurants, hotels, go shopping, or even drive by homes. It also claims that it is really going to give the mash-up a true Web 2.0 feel and bring user commentary to the sights… anyone think that the ‘sounds’ might be next?
